Hertz Pneumatic High Pressure Cleaners are air-operated, spark-free hydro-jetting units designed specifically for use in ATEX hazardous zones where electric or diesel-powered equipment creates ignition risk. Powered entirely by compressed air through an integrated air motor driving the high-pressure water pump, pneumatic HP cleaners operate safely in environments with flammable vapour, gas, or dust — including fuel tank cleaning, crude oil tank washing aboard tankers, chemical plant equipment cleaning, and paint booth maintenance. The inherent air-motor safety makes pneumatic HP cleaners the only compliant option for many shipboard cleaning tasks under SOLAS regulations, particularly in enclosed cargo and fuel spaces at vessels undergoing refit at Batam’s major shipyards.
