Engineering Application & Overview
Hurmac Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps and refrigeration accessories are purpose-designed for air conditioning, refrigeration, and heat pump system installation, service, and commissioning. Achieving deep vacuum levels down to 50 microns (5 Pa absolute), Hurmac vacuum pumps evacuate refrigerant circuits to the required deep vacuum before refrigerant charging — eliminating residual moisture and non-condensable gases that would otherwise cause compressor acid burnout and system inefficiency. This deep vacuum capability is critical for large commercial refrigeration systems, shipboard reefer cargo systems, and industrial chiller plant maintenance at Batam’s cold chain facilities and vessel reefer systems under service at Kepulauan Riau shipyards. The companion brass manifold gauge set and service tools complete the refrigeration technician toolkit supplied by PT HHM.
