The Hertz HPV-25A is a purpose-designed cargo hold cleaning pump unit for bulk carrier vessels, delivering 25 bar water pressure through deck-mounted connection points to supply hold cleaning nozzles and lances. Cargo hold cleaning between voyages is a critical vessel operations task to prevent contamination of subsequent cargo — particularly important for food-grade, chemical, or ore-switching cargo sequences. The HPV-25A’s 25 bar pressure is optimised for effective hold washing without exceeding the structural pressure tolerance of bulk carrier hold coatings and frames. Its compact, mobile skid design allows rapid deployment to any hold on a vessel undergoing port turnaround, minimising hold cleaning time and accelerating vessel readiness for next loading at Batam and Kepulauan Riau port terminals.
