Hughson Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps are pneumatically actuated positive displacement pumps that handle virtually any fluid — from clean water to abrasive slurries, viscous oils, corrosive acids, flammable solvents, and shear-sensitive materials — without electric motor, heat generation, or mechanical seal risk. The dual-diaphragm reciprocating action creates smooth, pulsed delivery that is inherently self-priming to 6 m suction lift and capable of running dry indefinitely without damage. Available in Polypropylene, PVDF, Aluminium, Cast Iron, and Stainless Steel 316 body materials with Buna-N, EPDM, Neoprene, Santoprene, PTFE, and Viton diaphragm options to match any fluid chemistry. Critical applications: bilge and slop oil transfer on vessels at Batam and Kepulauan Riau shipyards, chemical transfer in petrochemical and manufacturing facilities, paint and adhesive transfer, abrasive slurry transfer in construction and dredging, and ATEX zone chemical handling.
