The Hertz GELTEN Chemical Applicator is a purpose-designed attachment for Hertz high-pressure cleaning systems that enables controlled low-pressure chemical application immediately prior to high-pressure rinsing — combining chemical cleaning action with hydrojetting in a single integrated workflow. The chemical pre-application stage penetrates and loosens heavy oil contamination, biological marine growth, and mineral scale that pure high-pressure water alone would require significantly higher pressure or longer dwell time to remove. This two-stage approach — chemical application then HP rinse — reduces total cleaning time, lowers the operating pressure required, extends pump and hose service life, and reduces water consumption per unit area cleaned. Ideal for ship hull biological fouling removal in Batam’s warm equatorial waters (which accelerate marine growth), cargo hold degreasing between voyages, and engine room decontamination cleaning at Kepulauan Riau shipyards.
