Kawamoto P, PE, and PSS Series vertical inline pumps feature the suction and discharge ports on a common horizontal axis, allowing direct pipe-inline installation that eliminates pump base plates and reduces pipe run complexity. The PSS stainless steel variant is specifically engineered for food processing, pharmaceutical, and marine freshwater service where contamination from iron ions is unacceptable. The PE close-coupled variant saves additional floor space versus the frame-mounted P. Vertical inline architecture also eliminates the shaft coupling misalignment problems inherent in frame-mounted horizontal pumps — translating directly to reduced vibration, lower bearing loads, and extended seal life in continuous 24/7 duty at Batam manufacturing facilities.
