Hertz Manual High Pressure Test Pumps are hand-operated hydraulic pressure generation devices for hydrostatic pressure testing of pipes, valves, pressure vessels, fire extinguisher cylinders, breathing air cylinders, heat exchangers, and safety relief valves at test pressures up to 1,000 bar. Hydrostatic testing is the internationally mandated pressure integrity verification method for pressure-retaining equipment under ASME, PED, and DNV classification society rules — with test pressure typically set at 1.5× maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP). Manual test pumps generate pressure slowly and controllably through a precision hand-plunger mechanism, allowing the operator to approach test pressure gradually and monitor for leaks or pressure decay. The compact, portable design allows on-site testing of installed pipework, valve bodies, and vessel nozzles at Batam’s shipyards and industrial plants without removing components to a test bench.
